Mission Statement
The Washington Township Parks and Recreation Soccer Advisory Board is dedicated to the task of promoting and enhancing the culture of soccer in Washington Township. Over the course of 30 years, we have become one of the largest youth soccer programs in New Jersey with close to 2,000 registered players and some 200 adult volunteers.
Our efforts and energies are directed to the following objectives:
- We strive to develop players at all levels of play – recreational, travel and premier – by building and improving their skills, confidence, fitness, initiative and a sense of teamwork.
- We promote and encourage high standards of sportsmanship and fair play.
- We are committed to developing coaches to the highest level through a quality instructional program.
- We are committed to developing youth referees by offering instructional courses and resources that will allow them to further improve their skills as referees.
We look to aggressively expand soccer opportunities to all of our members and to promote respect of the game to all of Washington Township.
